Harvest Figs
In my family we like Figs so we had plant many of them in our plot. We have 4 big trees and 3 smaller figs this moment. So as you can understand we have many fruits every year and we eat them all.

We like fig fruits so much that we eat them from the tree when we are in plot. Every day we went in trees many times to search for ripen figs.
Last year it was a difficult year for us and we didn’t harvest almost anything from the plot because we didn’t went there after June. But this year is better and we harvest everything until now.

I make some jam with figs but mostly we ate them fresh. Next week we will go again in plot to harvest figs again and I will dry some figs for the winter

They look lovely. I assume the green figs are ripe. For some reason we only get fresh purple ones over here. Green ones come in tins.

@easygardener yes they are ripe. We have only one fig tree with purple figs(we call them black usually)
Our fig trees with green figs (we call them white usually) are different also. Some are red inside and some other are hmhmhm I can’t describe the color maybe beige describe them better, the next time I will try to cut some figs in half and take photographs.
My favorites are the green figs

Yes, I think the green figs have the best flavour too. The black ones are almost too sweet and ‘jammy’, the green ones are more delicate. Lucky you, having all those fig trees!
