Welcome to City Garden. My name is Mary and I’m a European Gardener from Greece. I live in the area of Macedonia, (Greek Macedonia) in the second biggest city of Greece, Thessaloniki.

This place is my gardening diary and you can find informations about the plants I grow in containers in my city balcony mostly. You can also read about my priceless plot which is near the sea and pineforest (100km from the city I live) where I have some trees (most of them are olives) and I try to grow some vegetables. It’s difficult because I can’t go there very often. Usually I grow my seedlings in my urban garden and then I transplant them in plot. If I am lucky and the weather is good I went to plot every month.
